The other day I realized my computer monitor was off, upon going to turn it back on I bumped my mouse and saw that it was just a dark screen saver, this was odd to me because I never use a screen saver, so I went to my control panel and clicked the "Change Screen Saver" option and got the message "your system administrator has disabled launching of Display Settings Control Panel." and a similar message when i tried to change my background.Now, Im the only user of this computer and I know for a fact im the admin, there is only one account on the computer and that of course, is mine. my issue is more or less the same as the original poster, im using a desktop pc, running windows vista home Premium, 2gigs of ram 500gb hardrive. Im not sure if anyone still checks on this thread for any new posts, or how this forum works, but ive exhausted all other resources and im pretty tired of looking around and finding nothing useful.hope you guys can help lol.
